Matthew 19:7-9
In part three of this six-part series, Pastor Jack teaches us the views on marriage and divorce in the time of Jesus and how He responded to those who tried to trap him over the subject of divorce. In doing so, He refuted the Jews interpretation of Moses’ regulations for divorce according to Deuteronomy 24. Since divorce was already taking places in Moses’ day due to the hardness of hearts, he therefore gave guidelines to regulate the practice and protect the women who were the victims.
