Six Steps to Personal Revival
Nehemiah 7-8
Once the walls of the Jerusalem had be rebuilt and the city repopulated it was time to establish the means of worshipping and walking with God. In chapter 8, we have the first recorded spiritual revival since the Jews return from their captivity. With the walls up, the people were able to gather and listen to Ezra, the priest, read God’s word. This must have been amazing scene considering that months earlier, Jerusalem was a broken down city. But with the vision of one man who bathed every decision in prayer, there was once again a place where the people of God could worship and walk with Him.
