The Tragic Analogy

Hosea 1-3
Bookmark and Share
The prophet, Hosea, was sent by God to the Northern Kingdom of Israel during some of darkest of days. In the process, God would command Hosea to marry a woman who would prove to be an unfaithful wife all for the purpose to show that Israel, who was looked upon as a wife to the Lord, was also unfaithful. But in spite of her unfaithfulness, God would use the example of Hosea to show that His love for Israel and for us is unfailing.
